Atlex ProjectsTeys Bros, Naracoorte (South Australia) Atlex designed and implemented cattle lairages, including overhead walkways for separation of staff from cattle and to improve cattle movement with safety. Includes additional Electronic Identification race from unloading ramp. This project was completed in two stages in 2004 and 2005. CRF Foods Pty Ltd Abattoir at Colac (Victoria) Atlex designed, manufactured and constructed a complete raised, three-metre, sheep lairage, electric adjustable ramp, roofing through to the transition point Blood Room. This was a Greenfield site. The project was completed in 2000 and this section was in excess of $300,000. Stage Two was completed in June 2003 with a further investment in excess of $400,000. Swan Hill Abattoir (Victoria) Atlex designed the raised sheep lairage including drafting area based on herringbone pens. We also designed, manufactured and constructed two electric unloading ramps and all the associated outside holding yards to a capacity of 5,000 sheep. This project was completed in 1999.
Kangaroo Abattoir (South Australia) Atlex produced a redeveloped design, manufacture and construction of sheep lairage and ramp based on herringbone pens. This project was completed in 1998.

Atlex will design lairage (sheep and cattle storage areas) from the electric adjustable ramps through to the holding pens in the lairage, flooring, laneways and circular forcing pens up to the stunning box. Roofing, water, drainage and effluence management are all supported by computations.
