Sheep Loading Facilities

Six metres in length.
Height adjustable – rise easily from ute to the third deck of semi trailer, making the gradient easy for sheep and operator.
800mm wide which allows sheep and lambs to pass each other if one stops. It is the same width as saleyard ramps, which we build, and is recommended by the Livestock Transport Association.
Sheeted both sides to one metre to direct sheep and lambs to walk straight up or down.
Is lifted by a Brake Winch, which holds going up and down and is the same as used on quality grain augers.
Automatic safety mechanism that supports the weight of the ramp in addition to the brake winch. This can be easily released by rotating the release bar while lowering ramp.
A 250mm walkway is located down one side with two safety handrails to eliminate risk to operator.
The floor has heavy 1.5mm thick grips, which is an identical grip to stock crates.
There are drop down flaps on both ends to minimise the possibility of foot injury to your sheep.
The frame is heavy 150mm universal beam (UB) where the ramp wheels neatly run in the UB Channel and cannot be damaged by trucks. The strength of the UB helps protect the ramp.
Wheels on bottom of ramp allow ramp to move up and down when a concrete pad is poured at the base on site.

Wheels are 14” with Holden HT rims, easily replaceable tyres.

Can to be incorporated into designs, this woolshed ramp is easy to erect and made from all galvanized steel - you just need to add concrete.
Sides are sheeted and are suited to the height of your woolshed and width of door.
